About Me

Kathryn Noel is a performer, choreographer, and dance educator.

She grew up in Oregon, where she fostered a deep love for dance and musical theatre before moving to Northern California to continue her training at Bethel Conservatory of the Arts.

During her time in Redding, Kathryn became a Resident Choreographer at Redding Performing Arts Center and served as Director of the Dance Department. She spent two years teaching and choreographing for RPAC’s After School Programs and Mainstage productions, most recently serving as Head Choreographer for Prince of Egypt.

A 2024 recipient of The Silton Foundation Award, her choreographic work spans a wide range of theatrical and narrative-driven productions, including Anything Goes, Austen’s Pride, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Magic Flute, Elf the Musical, Alice in Wonderland JR (RPAC), Little Women, and Sleeping Beauty in the Wood (Storybook Theater). While in Redding, she also danced with Commune Dance Company, taking class and performing in two seasons of work.

In the fall of 2025, Kathryn moved to New York City to train with the Limón Institute, seeking to deepen her artistry and expand her voice as a choreographer.

She is drawn to collaborative, story-centered work and brings a grounded, human approach to movement—one rooted in musicality, presence, and connection. Kathryn is eager to continue creating work that is both technically intentional and emotionally alive.

She remains endlessly thankful to the performers she collaborates with for their generosity, trust, and creativity in the rehearsal room, and her mission is to love the world through influential creativity, building work rooted in family, collaboration, and shared humanity.
